Mornings in Manchester

I wish I were always this motivated to wake up and watch the sunrise. This weekend, I made my way into the city just as the sun was rising. There’s something so peaceful about that hour empty streets, closed shops, and the quiet stillness while everyone else is still asleep after a night out.

I think I love Manchester the most in those early hours. I also managed to photograph this outfit, which I love so much.

Don’t you just love when the colors in your closet coordinate? I’ve been thinking about it more and more lately. What’s the point of buying ten shades of green if, in the end, none of them actually match?

Wouldn’t it make more sense to shop for clothes and accessories that go with what we already own? I’ve caught myself so many times buying something I loved in the moment, only to realize later that my handbag or shoes were in completely different shades.

So I’m setting myself a new challenge: “Buy new that matches your old.”
Wish me luck!

Your outfit is so lovely. You inspired me and I couldn’t help myself, I bought the sweater you’re wearing. I’m very excited and feel so inspired by your style. 🙂
