Welcome to my life on the French Riviera

If you’ve landed here, I’m really glad you did.
This is the beginning of a series where I’ll be sharing all the places I’ve come to love, from cafés and restaurants to quiet spots and small moments that make this part of the world feel so special.

If you’re anything like me, someone who craves beauty, peace, and those simple, well-curated moments, away from the overly touristic and crowded places, then I think you’ll feel at home here.

Let’s start at the beginning

I’ve been living in the south of France for three and a half years now.
And even writing that feels a bit surreal.

I moved here completely on my own, without knowing anyone, and without speaking French. Looking back, it sounds a little crazy, and honestly, it probably was. But it was also the best decision I’ve ever made.

So if you’re at a point in your life where something feels uncertain, or you’re thinking about taking a leap but feel scared, I would say just do it.
There’s never really a perfect moment, and usually, when something feels scary in a good way, that’s exactly when you should go for it.

Over the years, I’ve heard so many stories from people who came here as well. Some stayed, some left, some moved on to something else. The city is constantly changing, and I feel like I am too.

This space is my way of putting everything I’ve seen, experienced, and discovered into one place.
Not just the obvious things, but the details, the atmosphere, the feeling of being here.

A Local Guide for you

If you live here and are looking for new places, or if you’re planning a trip to the south of France, I hope this becomes a small guide you can come back to.

At the same time, I’m not trying to romanticise life here.
It’s different for everyone. People have different experiences, different expectations. But personally, even with everything that comes with living in France, I still love my life here, and I wouldn’t change it.

Over time, I’ve explored a lot of this region, from day trips along the coast to time spent in Provence and other parts of France. I’ve done a lot of research, tried a lot of places, and I finally wanted a space where I could share it all properly.

I’m also lucky to be building my own business while living here, although I’ve realised it comes with its own challenges. There’s always this constant balance between working and living. When I’m working, I feel like I should be outside enjoying it, and when I’m out exploring, I feel like I should be working.

It’s a never-ending back and forth, but I think it’s just part of figuring out what works best for you.

So this is the beginning.
I’ll be sharing all the places I love, everything I’ve discovered, and all the little details that make life here what it is.

I hope you’re excited to follow along.
