Living in Nice, France has been a life-changing journey. It’s now been two and a half years since I packed up and moved to this coastal gem in the South of France and honestly, this city still takes my breath away. From the vibrant colors of the Mediterranean to the laid-back lifestyle and charming local culture, Nice has offered so much more than I expected.
I didn’t move here to romanticize France, but it’s impossible not to feel grateful. This city has brought me inspiration, meaningful friendships, personal growth, and a deep sense of peace I didn’t know I was missing.
What continues to surprise me most is the variety of experiences. From the buzz of Nice’s summer season to cozy autumn days exploring nearby villages like Èze or Villefranche-sur-Mer, there’s a constant rhythm of discovery. Even just walking through the Old Town (Vieux Nice) can feel like a little adventure.
If you’ve ever dreamed of moving to France or want to know what it’s really like to live in Nice, I hope this gives you a glimpse into my day-to-day.
