If there’s anything truly exclusive, it’s the Monte-Carlo Country Club. This weekend, I attended the quarterfinals of the Rolex Monte-Carlo Masters a full day of tennis matches played on courts considered among the most beautiful in Europe, overlooking the Mediterranean.
While people come to watch some of the world’s best tennis players, it’s hard not to notice that the event is just as much about fashion as it is about sport. Men shine just as brightly as women, dressed in crisp white or soft blue shirts, designer sunglasses, and watches that catch the sunlight. There’s no official dress code, yet everyone seems to know they should arrive looking their best.
This prestigious event is definitely worth a visit, but make sure to get your tickets in advance! They sell out like fresh croissants.
What to bring?
You can bring your food and water, but you can also buy them on the site. Just bear in mind the long waiting queues.
How to get there?
The best form of transport is of course a car, but if you don’t have one you can arrive by bus or train.
