Another knitting project finished: a beautiful Blake cardigan from the Mother of Pearl x Wool and The Gang collaboration.
This sweater was definitely a challenge for me, but I’m so happy with how it turned out. I still see myself as a beginner in knitting, so working on this piece felt both exciting and slightly intimidating. It was my first time knitting with two colors and creating a pattern, and I loved watching it slowly come to life on my needles.
I chose Ivory White as the main color and Cornflower Blue as the second. The soft contrast between them feels so delicate and timeless like something you’d wear on a crisp morning with a cup of coffee and sunlight gently coming through the window.
There’s something so calming about knitting, especially when you see every stitch growing into something you’ll actually wear. It’s one of those quiet hobbies that remind you to slow down and enjoy the process as much as the result.
